Less than 100 days to go...

Just got back from an awesome family Cabo vacation. We had a great time celebrating Christmas in our bathing suits and laying by the pool. I am 26 weeks now and Boom and I are doing great.
I know it's crazy, but I am jumping on a plane tomorrow heading to New Orleans to ring in the New Year with Brittany and Krystal.

More pictures to come soon

Boom is getting BIG

Yesterday we had my 24 week check up/ultrasound. Eric was called to Glendale for a last minute meeting, but that didn't stop the Team Boom supporters from coming out. I was lucky enough to have Micky, Sissy and Cathy come with me to see Boom. My 20 week ultrasound was a little bit of a disappointment due to the fact that Boom was face down the whole time and you couldn't see any facial features. It was awesome to totally see the face this time accompanied by lots of yawning and opening and closing of it's mouth. Hopefully the yawning is a sign of a good sleeper (like his mom and dad).
I just keep getting bigger by the day, but feeling really great. I love going to bed every night feeling the baby moving around and waking up to tons of movement.
Sleeping is becoming a bit more challenging, maybe this is my body preparing me for no sleep coming up.
I am looking forward to a very hectic/fun holiday break. Heading to Cabo on Tuesday with the whole family for Christmas then I head off to New Orleans with Britt and Krystal to celebrate the New Year.

Hope everyone has an amazing holiday season.

No Beer...It's definitely a baby

I am now 20 weeks pregnant and starting to get pretty big. It's exciting to feel the flutters and movement Boom is making. Monday is our 20 week appt. where we get to do the full anatomy scan. I will post the ultrasound picture when we get it.
I know this is the appt. where you usually found out the sex...it will be hard to resist.

Check out the video where we have the cutest gender prediction so far from Ms. Stella Laurie

Nurse/Tia Lulu found the heartbeat

For the past couple weeks Lindy has been trying to find the heartbeat with her high tech stethoscope. Last night she finally found it! It was pretty cool especially because Eric hasn't heard it yet.

4 months down 5 to go

Nothing too crazy to report today. I met with the doctor for my 16 week check up and everything looks great. Boom has a nice strong heartbeat and the doctor said I am progressing perfectly.
In about 2 weeks Eric, Lindy and I will perform some lovely wives tales tests to "determine" the sex. It will be fun to see all the back and forth.
I am looking forward to my 20 week appointment where we will do the full anatomy ultrasound (minus finding out the sex).
I am finally starting to feel better and more myself again. I'm headed to New Orleans next weekend for work and that will be the end of my work travel :)

Team Kneler is looking forward to the holidays and watching me get fatter.
Love to you all on this awesome stormy day

Beer Belly

People are asking, so here you go. I really didn't want to post a pic of my 15 week old belly. I feel like I am fat not pregnant. In talking to more people who felt the same way at the same stage they regret not taking the pictures. It's weird because I can't feel the baby kicking yet, so for some reason at times it still doesn't feel real. I feel bloated and sick. I have my 16 week appointment next Tuesday. No ultrasound just some tests. I'll post a little update then.
Also, I am debating having Eric jump on this and post some blogs. He's had some pretty interesting feedback on some issues. Stay tuned for that.

Bouncing Boom

On Monday I had my 12 week ultrasound and met Dr. Kroll for the first time. Eric had a big meeting in LA, so my mom and Lindy came with me. I was shocked to see how much bigger the baby is from 4 weeks ago. Boom was jumping around like crazy, it was hard for the tech to take pictures he/she was moving so much. It was great to see all the movement and to hear the strong heartbeat. At one point the tech said she could probably tell us the sex of the baby (right as I was thinking I saw something poking out). So now of course I am convinced it's a boy. This will be a back and forth game for the next 6 months.
WE REALLY DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE SEX IS!

Everyday I am starting to feel better. I am still tired all day, but the nausea has subsided a bit. I am glad the news is out and now pretty much everyone knows.

Kneler, Party of 3

I created this blog about a year ago to stalk my friends and to one day blog about my pregnancy.

Here's how the story begins...
Eric and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on June 13th. We had "the talk" about being ready to start trying. I was so excited, I have been ready for the past 6 months. I would say we officially started trying mid July. On Sunday the 25th I was exhausted early and my boobs were starting to feel really sore. Eric was convinced that I was pregnant. Lindy and I went to Walgreens and picked up a couple pregnancy tests. I read it's better to take in the morning so I waited.
I woke up Monday super tired and not expecting to see "PREGNANT" in the window of the test. I was freaking out. Wow, first try. BOOM IS IN THE WOMB
I called my doctor and made an appt. for August 27th (9 weeks). I am a big mouth and there was no way I was going to be able to keep this a secret, so one by one we started telling family and our closest friends.

August 27th finally came with the results we were hoping for. I was so anxious to see the embryo and heartbeat. Eric was great the whole time filming the ultrasound with a big smile on his face.
The doctor says the heartbeat is strong and we are looking at a 4-4-11 due date. Our 12 week appt. is scheduled for Sept. 20th.

At this point this baby is kicking my butt:
- Falling asleep at work reading emails (I am bordering narcolepsy)
- Constant nausea ALL DAY (not just the morning)
- Feeling like by boobs are going to explode (graphic, but true)
- No appetite for anything

Honestly, for me it's all worth it. I just feel bad for the people around me who have to deal with the puking zombie that I have become.
